Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he is "honoured and privileged" to have managed Man Utd; Solskjaer was sacked after an "embarrassing" 4-1 defeat at Watford in the Premier League on Saturday; Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is the club's first choice to replace the Norwegian
"It's one of those things you dream of in your life. When you've been a player, when you've been a reserve-team coach, the next job then, the only dream and the only thing you haven't done is to manage the club, and I have now.
"It's been a ball, it's been absolutely enjoyable from the first to the last minute, so I have to thank all the players because since I came in, they're top lads, top people. Some have come, some have gone, but all of them, they've been such an enjoyable bunch to work with.

Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voller insists the club have not given up hope of keeping Kai Havertz after Chelsea opened talks to sign the midfielder. Acording to reports on Tuesday, Frank Lampard’s side have begun negotiations with Leverkusen over a potential deal for the 20-year-old this summer. Havertz is widely regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Europe and has attracted strong interest from both Manchester United and Liverpool, as well as Real Madrid and Barcelona. However, when asked about Havertz’s situation on Tuesday evening, Voller claimed that Leverkusen are ‘in a good position’ and predicted that speculation will increase ‘if he plays like this now’.
Chelsea are on a spending spree this season, already finalising a few lucrative deals. However, their intention to bolster the squad is far from over with a section of media linking them with Ben Chilwell. As of now, the London side are not the only club looking at the Leicester man as the left-back has found other suitors. The Telegraph is reporting that Manchester City are also in contention to sign Chilwell as Pep Guardiola looks to add more options to the left-back slot. On the other hand, Leicester would be looking to get £85 million for the defender.

A friendly against Queens Park Rangers has been planned for later this week but for now it is more hard work on the training.
According to Brazilian publication Globoesporte (h/t Express), Chelsea are interested in Santos starlet Kaio Jorge.
The 18-year-old is one of the brightest prospects in South American football. He has also attracted interest from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Jorge has been named ‘the new Cristiano Ronaldo’. A player with quick feet and good technique, he has scored 6 goals in 10 appearances for Brazil’s Under-17 side.
He has made six appearances for Brazilian giants Santos while scoring one goal.
Santos could be forced to sell the youngster as they continue to grapple with the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic. This could be good news for Chelsea, who could add another talented young player to their ranks.
There were reports this week that Chelsea are in the race for Kai Havertz, and that has understandably been met with delight among supporters.
The club’s strong start to the transfer window comes in stark contrast to last summer during which a ban prohibited them from making additions.
Chelsea have already secured Hakim Ziyech, and football.london has been told that the club is “highly confident” that they will trigger Werner’s £53million release clause before it expires on June 15.
